Welcome to the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi. We are the mother church of the dioceses of the southwest of our country and it is rightly called the “heart of Santa Fe”. Our parish is 400 years old, making it one of the longest established Christian congregations in the country! But our glory lies not so much in our illustrious past, but in the present where we continue the work of the Saviour. Under the protection of La Conquistadora, Our Lady of Peace, and the patronage of St. Francis of Assisi, we strive to be instruments of peace and all that God calls us to be.
